What types of caricatures do we offer?

  • Traditional black and white:

Is the fastest medium for a big party that wants to have as many people as possible entertained in a very short amount of time. It takes approximately 4-5 minutes per caricature. Can take longer if doubles ( two faces on a drawing) are requested.

The caricatures are drawn with sharpies markers with no extra face shadings or coloring.

  • Traditional black and white with shades:

This type of service comes with two artists: one that draws the customers in the same fast amount of time: 4-5 minutes, and the other artist that is adding black and white shades and highlights to the drawing, bringing the caricatures face expressions to life. This way as many people as possible will be entertained in the same fast amount of time! This service is provided only if the client wants to offer this type of entertainment to their event. If they want the caricatures to have more details and have a more realistic look to their drawings. With two artists working hand in hand, the time per each caricature remains at the same speed as the regular black and white fast drawing.

  • Traditional colored caricatures at events:

This type of caricature involves two artists as well. Timothy the main caricaturist draws the caricature face in sharpie markers, and his wife Andreea will color and fill the shades and highlights in the likeness of each person. This way as many people will be entertained and will have a chance to be drawn with extra effects and color.

  • Digital black and white caricatures:

These types of caricatures are made in our studio. Usually they’re special order for one individual or a group of people! They’re drawn digitally by Timothy. Special theme requests can be added to the drawing. The client will receive a digital copy of the drawing. Timothy communicates with each detail, and makes sure the drawing is turning the way is being envisioned by the client. The communication in this private requests is made either trough email, text message or what the outlet of communication might be for each individual.

In these private requests, the amount of time spent on each piece is all depending on the detail and theme the client chooses to be added. Usually it takes at least one hour per drawing. The charge is starting at the minimum of 100$. And it can vary depending on the amount of time put in to each piece.

Make sure to understand that these digital caricatures are hand drawn, not digitized pictures. There is no program involved other than his hand and his digital art pen drawing on his digital format device, as if he does it on paper, except in a digital format.

  • Digital colored caricature:

These types of caricatures are drawn digitally per special requests. Customers usually have a special Theme, and they take anywhere depending on the details, from one hour to several hours. The basic price for digital colored caricatures start at 125$ per hour.

The henna we use is all organic made out of organic henna powder that comes from reputable sources.
The ingredients are mainly: lemon juice, sugar and organic essential oils. The cones are made with good grade cellophane.
We do not use black henna!
Once you have applied the henna design to the skin, you should leave it on there as long as possible (at least 2 hours). The longer you leave it on the skin, the darker the stain will be. If left alone, the henna paste will dry and start to crack on its own and fall off. You can use a dry paper towel to rub the dry henna off or you can rinse it with warm water.
